Mission Statement: Our mission is to connect the needs of foster families with the generosity of the community through the love of Jesus Christ. We aim to impact the lives of children in foster care in a positive way through meeting their needs and serving their foster families. We are passionate about advocating for these families and educating the community on the needs of children in the foster care system.

Volunteer Opportunities
Weekly: 

• BigHouse Boutique: Volunteers help sort and organize donated clothing while helping foster and adoptive families shop for needed items.

Monthly:

• Kids’ Night Out: Volunteers help provide respite for caregivers through an evening of dinner, games, crafts, and a Bible devotional for children served by BigHouse.
• Equip Nights: Volunteers help provide dinner and childcare during continuing education classes required for parents to maintain licensure.

Quaterly:

• New to Care: BigHouse collects and distributes diapers, wipes, hygiene items, new shoes, underwear, socks, and pajamas for children entering foster care.
