The Blessing is a special evening set aside to celebrate and honor graduating high school seniors as they step into the next season of life. This meaningful gathering invites fathers to speak a personal blessing over their son or daughter—affirming who they are, celebrating their journey, and encouraging them for the future.

This event is open to any graduating high school senior and their dad or spiritual father figure in the Birmingham area, as well as surrounding communities. You do not need to attend All Christ Church or be a part of ACC YTH to participate— we would love for you to join us.

During the evening, we will eat a meal together and then divide into separate spaces, boys with their fathers and girls with their fathers. The fathers will prepare a 3–5 minute blessing to share directly with their child in front of the group. To create a personal and meaningful environment, we will divide into separate rooms for sons and daughters with their fathers. Each father will then take a moment to look their child in the eyes and speak words of affirmation, encouragement, and blessing as they close their high school chapter and step into adulthood.

It is a powerful and memorable moment for both fathers and seniors, and one many families treasure for years to come.
