PRAY: Spend two minutes in silent prayer. After two minutes, have someone pray for your time together as a group.

READ: Acts 9:1-19. Invite different group members to read the passage out loud, two or three times. Each time, use a different Bible translation to allow for the Spirit to highlight key points through different wordings and sentence structures.

Q1 – If someone asked you, “What is the gospel?” how would you respond? How does your understanding of the gospel shape the way you live, not just the way you speak about your faith?

Q2 – What distinguishes a cultural Christian from someone who is a radical disciple of Jesus? If someone could see how you live when no one is watching, would they see a life shaped by Jesus? Why or why not?

Q3 – Paul encountered Jesus and immediately realized that he could not see clearly. Are there areas of your life right now where God is asking you to trust Him without having the full picture? What would it look like to choose faith in that place?

Q4 – Paul’s zeal was transformed from persecuting the Church to passionately advancing the gospel. Where might your zeal be misplaced, and where is Jesus calling you to channel that passion for His glory?

Q5 – Obedience cost Paul everything he was supposed to be proud of. What is your obedience costing you? If Jesus is asking you to surrender more than your comfort—to lay down your plans, reputation, control, or expectations, are you still willing to go?

Q6 – Do you view suffering as a punishment to be avoided or as hardship and opportunity to draw near to Jesus? Share why.

Romans 10:9–17

Paul calls this passage “the message concerning faith that we proclaim.” Take this week to slow down and let this message move from something you know to something you carry.

Read Romans 10:9–17 each day. As you read, pray through the passage and ask the Lord to highlight what He wants you to believe, surrender, and live out.

By the end of the week, work toward memorizing the passage. As you commit these words to memory, ask God to give you an opportunity to proclaim the gospel to someone who needs to hear it.
